ONE DAY LAW ENFORCEMENT SUMMIT

The FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development Association and LifeLock®, present a one day summit on Identify Theft, its economic, personal and employment impacts. Identity theft investigations can be complex and challenge all law enforcement to share information to protect their communities and reduce victimization to their citizens. This one day event will be hosted by FBI-LEEDA along with the Chief Stephen D. Caraway and the Kenner Police Department.
This will be an interactive summit with attendees actively encouraged to contribute their experiences and strategies in identity theft investigations, sharing both investigative barriers as well as success stories. The Summit will address a range of identity theft issues to include:
- Relevant Identity Theft Laws
- High Technology Identity Theft
- Identity Theft Awareness and Protection Strategies
- Databases To Assist In Identity Theft Investigations

KEY NOTE SPEAKER: Carol Frederick Carol Frederick is a Special Agent with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, presently serving in the Orlando Region. With 18 years law enforcement experience Carol has used her career to focus on fraud and identity theft cases. Carol specializes in taking a multijurisdictional approach to dismantling organizations. In an effort to combat identity theft, Carol helped form the South Florida West African Task, and educates Florida law enforcement and citizens about the methods and techniques commonly used by identity thieves. |
